The Spirit of the Lord
Is upon me
Because he has anointed me
To preach good news
To the poor
He has sent me
To the prisoners
And recovery of sight
To the blind
To set the oppressed free
All the work of the Holy Trinity in the life of the Church has its source in the power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Person who initiates, in the mysteries of our soul
And of the positive response of the faithful, strengthened in the Spirit
How enormous is the wealth of his gifts
Day by day he strengthens us and envelops us in his Shekinah
His sweet voice shows us the presence of the counsels of heaven
Holy Spirit descends upon us
I cannot forget that God is strong
And his love keeps us safe

Of my salvation in Christ who is the master of life and of my being
Father and Son and Holy Spirit
