Monster Killer

I quiver cold as ice
I feel a shiver down my side
A shadow and a creak
The floorboards speak to me

Well I know what I saw
There’s a man in the dark or a thing like a creature of sorts
“A Monster” he says, he lives “under my bed”
or inside of my closet doors
please, appease me
I scare so easily…

No matter the clatter, The eye in the peep hole
It’s just a story meant to scare all the people
Sleep now aint no boogy man goin come around
No fear cause Im here, your safe with me right now
But Im tired I gotta turn all the lights down

He cannot get what he cant see
Arms up in the air
He tries to steal a scare
