Love Song

There are many kinds of love songs
And here is one I'd like to do
I guess it isn't quite like others
It isn't just a song for you.
'cause I believe that without Jesus
It never could have been us two
When it is you and me and Jesus
A better love we'll never know.

This world is full of lovely ladies
And more than one could catch your eye
But they are used as sexual play things
And that is surely not for me
To use each others' love and feelings
In selfishness will only make
It harder for us to believe in
In what we do and what we say.

I just wanna know, isn't it enough,
if we are lovers
And if that's so, I still wanna know
why all the heart aches.

Well, maybe you have shed some tears
When I have left and said goodbye
No longer believe in all our dreams
And feel like you would rather die.
But human love is not enough
To love someone with all your life
But He who died for everybody
He never will stop loving us.

You're the one He's chosen for me
The whole things maybe sounds too silly
But you will find it is the truth
The day you become one with Jesus
Then finally you have found love.
