Lies and profanity
All I hear as I turn my ear
Your direction can it be capture me that my mind may be focused down
I won't be focused down

Constantly thoughts are pounding me ever contrary to the truth I see
I've been commissioned set in position to shine
They won't bring me down

Crime and brutality all I see never lets me be
My protection can't you see Christ in me may I never be focused down

This war rages on in my head
They won't give up till I'm dead or do as they say
Day after day minute by minute hour by hour they come
Trying to lead me away
