Found a cheap therapist
Started taking vitamins
And gave up on all my friends
I bought some self help books
Stopped giving myself dirty looks
And started breathing again
Got really into dirty martinis
Stuck a rainbow key chain on my rear view
To remind myself the pot of gold
Is always just up the road

After 5 years it was over
Moved out, found an apartment across town

Left my heart in two dozen states
And got a credit card, couldn't pay it off
Guess sometimes you just surprise yourself
With what you do to move on
