Sometimes, in our lives
Feel like we're juggling knives
In search of balance and control
When dreams die hard
And leave you bruised and scarred

So I broke the chains, I missed that plane
Cause I refused to go down in flames
I crossed the line the day that mine was drawn

The muse joined us as friends

My reflection in a window glass
A man whose eyes were focused, brightly shining
