Fizzing and crackling as you stretch to the tropopause
Subtly kettled bleeding electrons 'cause
These power lines feed function sublime we all need

Fixing and nurturing youngsters with neon beams
Pinning their future on the nuclear fusion teams
All of the light from our portable phones wrecking souls
