G G F#m D And I’m calling it Poetry And Jazz [Verse 2]

G F#m used to feel as if my life was
A just a prison
G G F#m Now I realise it isn’t quite that

D I was invited to an exhibition a

D G F#m And I looked at her and I started
A laughing
D I said you’re supposed to be an

A suffering
D G And she just smiled back and she
F#m A pointed to this picture
D G Of a young girl around which she’d
