Real World

Is it just an illusion, that I’m losing it, it didn’t
Happen yesterday
Is it only confusion, that I’m using amusing
Myself from day to day
Tell the truth, have we gone too far?
Losing sight of what we did and who we are

‘Cause it’s the real world that we’re living in
And with human kind I feel I don’t fit in
Sometimes it just frightens me to think of
Where I’ve been
And the many times I felt like giving in
But the real world is the right place to begin
