Heavy Burden

I’ve been loading my burden through these years
I’ve been loading it with my sins, bad thoughts and everything
It’s getting heavy, oh my brother, it’s getting hard to endure
But I'm trying to be strong, believe me I'm telling you

Sometimes I feel my life is falling apart
I’ve been living on my own way, now It’s time to pay the price
Even a sunny day seems to be darker than the night
And when the Sun goes down and the real darkness comes

Oh Lord, I pray for You to help my soul
Keep me away from the trigger, don’t let me grab that gun
That old rope seems to ask me to hang it on a tree
Things come all at the same time, oh is hard to believe
My head and my heart are full of bad feelings

Every time I think those bad things, Lord I pray more and more
I am trying to be good and to keep You in my heart
Time has come when I must carry this burden
So I have to be tough and deserve, deserve the salvation
