Be Free, Be True

Be free with me brothers and sisters
We cannot hold down this anchor much longer
We see the heathen run because they know we are stronger
All of our lives we’ve been taught to surrender
To the system’s elite “become a member!”
To live like them you must always check your shoulder
Once you go down they will tell you “I told ya”
Instead of helping you up from your fall
But the most high will always answer your call

So never worry about your life
Seek christ first and all will be added to you
Though you will be striped with many stripes
Hail the comforter, he will always comfort you
Be true with me brothers and sisters
We cannot lie to ourselves too much longer
Search within or be searching forever
To guide your way you must consult the holy scriptures

Because we are the chosen ones
To enter those gates of zion
All we ask for in prayer lies within
Cultivate your blessings and don’t ever give in
We only have this one life for us to live
So don’t find yourself saying “damn I could have been”
Only if it wasn’t for your pride you could begin
Don’t you know that pride is the most deadliest of sins
No! You don’t need a shark fin to truly win
Humble yourself and know that christ dwells within
