At the midnight skyline
Where it all began
A sanctuary
Comfort for a lonely man
Footsteps fading faster
Miles and countless miles
Divided, a solitary shooting star falls to earth
Looking for a better life

He longs to taste the danger
With his restless heart
Cast aside, a spirit free to fly at last for all time
Leaving the city behind
