Children like to dance, children like to sing
Children like to play with almost anything
A little piece of wood, tiny bit of string
Tied together, it's a wonderful thing
Children who don't eat can't stay on their feet
If the cupboard is bare, they only sit and stare

We hate the winter and cry about the snow
But come the month of May our crops start to grow
We cut down the wheat and turn into bread
Put it on the table till everyone's fed
