Clock unwinding, she had waited
Far too long, sky turning to the night.
"Am I alone?" she contemplated.
"Is this real? Is this right?"

If I tried to come back down
to where I can see it, there's no return.
And I know should I be the one to fall
I might as well beat it.

Step by step she elevated,
Climbing clouds and pulling with all her might.
Closing her mind to the ill-fated,
She sighed.

Could this leap be overrated?
Could she prove she had control of her life?
She had for so long anticipated
This test of courage this test of pride.
