Like TV

i guess i've always wondered why life can't be more like TV
everything is perfect its the ideal fantasy
there's nothing that lasts longer than a 30-minute conflict
wish everything that sucks could end that quick that quick
that quick yeah
everything on tv always seems to work out so ideally

wish i was like TV and had my own theme song
i wish that i could drive nice cars and travel far away
in 30 minutes a day
as i turn on my television set
i watch the screen and i forget
the things that didn't go my way
they all just fade away
