Bursting through the scenery,
Shifting from the light,
Pounding through the foliage,
Slithering out of sight,

There's venom dripping from your fangs,
Looking for a fight,
Gaze piercing like laser beams,
Terror of the night.

Sneaking from behind now,
In the darkness it entails,
Binds you up now you're restrained,
In its wretched scales.

Serpent, coiled in the corner,
Serpent, readying its bite,
Serpent, hidden in the shadows,
Serpent, leaping as it strikes.

Underneath and out of sight,
Silently it crawls,
Leering from the undergrowth,
Of the rot infested walls,

Defiling as it passes by,
