The Awakening

Suddenly snatched from this life
Across an eternal white
Breathing alterity
Into a loveless cold
Within a lifeless shell I died

Trapped in insecurity
Condemned to inactivity
I am slowly dying
A thousand deaths
Pervasive inability
The more I struggle
The more I loose
All left relicts of sanity

Paralyzed
Frame by frame
Terrorized
By mortal shame

Onwards into the depth!
Buried in thoughts
I will deframe again
Deeper into the abyss!
Far below they call my name again
Obsessed by perdition
Nothing will ever be the same again
The more I swim
The more I drown

Tainted with sadness from within
Haunted by demons I evoked
Driven by hate, nourished by redemption
They come for each and every sin

I cannot wait for myself to awake
The harder I try to - The harder the ache

All my ambitions are finally torn but
What is not dead yet cannot be reborn
