The Darkness End's The Day

The cold look in my eyes
The blood is my disguise
The cooling of my skin is spreading within

The blisters on my tongue
The water in my lungs
The stiffness in my legs
Will tell them I am dead

The swelling has begun
The battle won't be won
The contents of my soul is ready to go

I look down on myself
I only see a shell
They tried to make me stay
I chose to fade away

The pain has left my mind
My eyes are turning blind
My shadow fades to white
I move towards the light

The light I felt is gone
I'm now the only one
A force pulls me away
The darkness ends the day
