Not Getting Old

I’m not getting old today
But sometime, my memory may start to fade away
will you hold me tight and tell me
we lived our lives like we always hoped we would?

Cause I have seen the face of a woman weathered
who never had a dream and never thought she could

Cause dreams, they never die
and dreams they never quit
we’re only capsules in which they live
and if we don’t chase them the run away
and follow someone who won’t let them float away

It is my hope that when someday I look back
that I can say, I lived my life with no regret
