Snowflakes

I jump out of my bed at night
every hour once or twice.
I don't want to miss the sight
of falling snow and ice.

When will it happen now,
do I see snowflakes fall,
or is it still just rain I see?
God turn it into snow for me!

The next day I wake up
I must have fallen asleep.
I quickly look out of,
my bedroom window, peep.

Every thing I see is white,
the temperature is under zero.
Please mister weather-man,
let it snow some more, if you can.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
I'll bring you the weather-forcast.
The snow that is falling right now
will turn into rain.
The temperature will rise above zero,
so the snow from last night will be gone very soon.
