Disbelief

You saw me drifting away in the dark
When they came to confine me within my own despair
And when I'm down on my knees they try to make me believe
I'm sick, I bring death and I deliver disease
I must admit that ignorance is getting under my skin
It doesn't matter what's wrong, it doesn't matter what's right
When they said I'm guilty, my future seemed to be clear
This establishment will be the death of me

I buried my face in my hands once or twice
Until they came to rip me out of my life

I was given away by those who believed in my innocence
It was a perfect mistake to know those things I shouldn't know
Betrayal is the first thing that comes into my mind
When everyone outside is nowhere to be found

I can't believe that this is justice

And I'm inside of this
Confusion brought me here
I don't know if it's day or night
Sincerity got me nowhere
You may think that this is unfair
But these are the signs of liberty

How can you fight something you cannot see
Which seems to be invisible for me
All that seems to be left is hoping, praying
Waiting for you to get me out of this

I don't know how they came to this conclusion that I'm the chosen one to rip the head off
And if I dig deep enough there would be a light leading me into freedom

I can't believe that I'm so far away from home

I was given away by those who believed in my innocence
