It's been a long hard war
Who counts the cost of life
Lost from shore to shore

Time to reflect on what we've learned

This is a victory for all humanity

So many mothers mourn
And rue the day their sons
Were caught up in this storm
So many babies born
Without a father families torn
And turned upside down
Was it worth it?
