Waiting For My Time

My thoughts they did mock me, pervert me and shock me
Erode me and rot me, they took aim and shot me
Still People can rob me, but they cannot stop me
Because I'll do it once and I'll do it properly

A terrible thing this new human mind
It leads just itself, half deaf and half blind
Two ears and one mouth, yet no one will listen
I'm sure no one will, their hearts are all missing

No more crying aloud on cold bony shoulders
Their hearts frozen stone, their heads hard as boulders
I'll keep it inside, where no one can tell
My face may say heaven, but my heart will say hell

I'd say its goodbye, buts that's not quite true
Because whilst I wont be me, you'll still be you
And as long as you are I'll keep on pretending
That I've not snapped at all, just in the process of bending

If there's a point, I hope I find it real soon
Because right now my body feels a lot like a tomb
All that's inside a decaying dark death
And the echo's of me, as I take my last breath
As I shout to the world that I've had enough
Of a wasteland of hate, a world without love.
