Every type of anesthesia
But know that the pain
Still lyes within me

Careful with the road
Its dangerous this year
As well as every other
Its been taken by fear

Careful with the man
He holds a glass of morphine
As if that could stop the rain
Storm that shreds the world I see

Careful with the soul
It’s as dark as it could be
It devours every segment
Of life that it can see

No one has given him
His dose of daily lies
It’ll be too late
The human in him died

And once he remembers
That there will always be the pain

There’s no end to the rain
