I Am His Child

Life at times can be so cold
So many choices
So many roads
What's the answer to life's questions
Does anybody really know
The reason why the tears I cry are often not of joy
I may not have all the answer but this one things for sure
That I am His Child and He cares for me

Trials and tribulations come
They try to shake my foundation
It's in those times I realize how the weak say I am strong
For in my weakness His strength is perfected in me
Jesus has already overcome the world
And He's given me the victory

Remember this one thing … Jesus said He'll never leave you
He'll never leave you or forsake you
(So cast all your cares on Him for he cares for you)
Jesus will love you with an everlasting love
(And He'll never walk away)
