She strikes me as leaves
Simmering in melancholy
Before her time to touch the earth
Each time I see

And time fading into the sea
Like memories of you and me
Feelings of joy and misery
I’m longing for you

She spoke in metaphors again

Melodious as the rain
As the echoes of her hair
