I am the unseen eyes of the night
I am the weakest of winds that touches your face
I am an owl who crosses the sky in moonlight
I am in whispering of trees
The soft voice you can almost understand
I am in mournful cry of a beast
Who hunts on barren lands

I am in raindrops that fall from darkest skies
I am in candleflame that mirrors your eyes
I stand in last rays of evening light
That fall upon your bed
And I guard your sleep
As if I was not dead...
