A twelve year old boy and his little sister
Were outside down the square playing hide and seek
This droning sound came, a kind of sinister
Trucks appeared spreading smelly diesel reek

Slowly they approached, roaring and rattling
He grabbed his sister by the hand while they watched them go

Easy they passed by and they stopped at their home

Paralyzed with fear, there they stood all alone
Mother crying, what the hell they're looking for

Then their father came out, pointed with a gun
Hands behind his head, they forced him to obey
Eyes were searchin', his girl and his son
The very last glimpse then they took him away
