Something Very Clouded

I stood behind you in a whirlwind of beautiful lies
Far away a fading laughter dies and someone tries
To tell you things are alright, that this night will end in light
So why are you sleeping when there's nothing to flee from?
We drift like summer sounds upon the air in dreams of time
Behind your closed eyes other eyes will close and bells will chime
Through eighty years of light you daydreamed through the night
