The fields are silent
The woodlands are still
The plague is upon us
To cripple and kill

Lead us to salvation, mercy on our plight
If we see tomorrow, lead us to the light

Here the plague is with us
Only God knows why?
Prayers will go unanswered

Here in isolation, families sit and wait

See our friends and neighbors
Crosses on their door
Will we be survivors?
