Wolven Hour

When night winds sing
Their lullaby
And twilight covers the earth
Darkness eats the shadows

The hour of nightfall
Old forest wakes again
Whispering breeze
Breath of the night

The last glimpse of light
Still dance in the trees
Ghostly flicker
The last rays of Sun

Blood Moon glides
From behind the treetop
Cloaked in the night
She marches on

Blazing eyes that behold the night
Ancient as blood in her veins
Secrets in a wolven mind hide
In old hatred are wolf and forest one

In human flesh shall the runes be carved
Chanting a spell, whispering a rhyme
Moon in her soul, dark lore enthralled
Dusk in her heart
Sorcery of primordial kind

Yet in haze dwells the sleeping soil
By the wings of the night she rides
And in the spoors of the beast
No morning will dawn

Susi kulkee koin edellä
