Early one morning
We awoke in the grass
Like stones, we were scattered
We could have been missiles
We could have been a wall

We were awoken
Like Adams and eves
Like puppets on strings
Someday our remains will jingle
In the wind

A cozy white light in the hall
I might be there after all

The shadow of a bird

A giant budgie as big as the world
