It waits in the arcade
With the games and toys
Morality slug, righteousness machine
Insert your coin, to receive enlightenment

It shifts its bulk and grins
Plays at innocence at awe
Morality slug, devious contraption
Constructs exposé to inspire enlightenment

It plays its shrill pipe
And the mindless begin to dance
Morality slug, sick submissive
"They" are the easiest prey

It will say what is wrong
All dressed in tricks and lies
Morality slug, declares passivism
To suffer no shame in its vague intention

It speaks its virtuous sermon
Ignorant fool awakens the foolish
Morality slug, righteous poseur

Morality play takes a long and winding road
The actors play and the dancers dance
Serpentine path
Wreaths the knot tighter to its throat.
And every coin pays for more rope.

From its end emerges a dubious ooze
To the masses gathered with gaping lips
And the dumb mouths swallow
Morality slug.
Product of its enemy
Morality slug, delivers waste
