Mountains To Climb

There's nothing else to do but try
To make the time so fun it flies
So that's what I came here to do
I may have failed, but I tried to

Come up with a nice surprise
To bring some light back to your eyes
And brighten up these pre-apocalyptic skies

When it gets bumpy, you hold on
The ups and downs have made you strong

When you see mountains you climb
When you see lightning, you ride
When you see water, you dive right in

This year has been such a blur
So don't look back to where you were
Look ahead to where you're heading
Switching gears and getting ready

No one can really promise you
That they won't end up hurting you
Even if they never wanted to
