He's on the couch testing his strength
Praying some angels to give some faith
He's taking his eyes from out of his head
Trying however to endure that pain.

How can you jump when your feet are tie
How can you see when your eyes they are blind
Trying to sink in the sheet on his bed
He cannot withdraw this leash from his head

Fantasy worlds are all that is left
Nothing will ever be the same
Having his eyes burned by the sun
Is a such special and terrible thing
But it's not a hundredth of what is like
To have your wings stroke at the roots
And see them die
