Timebird

A kid I know got frozen
Making angels in the snow
They pulled her out and burried her
As if she'd died in prayer
The funeral was fitting
There was nobody there
Now if teacher's burned your walking shoes
Then barefoot you must go

I would pinch my voice and sing

As it slowly burns to clay
