a purple sunrise starts this long day
we must be on our way to some place new
on our way to some place wed never thought wed stand
its easy to sit back in this place and close my eyes to see your face
but sometimes blurry, that was last spring
and now the leaves we shared fall down
its been 6 months since we were last along
i hope someday you write and say i wish this wasn't so
because i swear we said that we would never let this go
and now we're all alone
guess i'll have to spend these days all alone
but im not ready to let you go
