Under God's Blinded Eyes

That night was different
Everything was asleep and the silence kept the mistery of the darkness
Something was going to happen that would change my life forever,
I went to bed, i turned off the light
And while i was sleeping i had a strange dream
In my dream i woke up at dawn
It was six o'clock and the cold filled that mourning
Like never before,
I felt that something was going wrong.
That day my eyes died, they lost their faith
All the things they saw were sad and grey
There were no green fields,
They had been burnt by our hate.
There were no plants and men wore oxigen masks to breath
Because the pure air was so far away, and the danger was so near
Suddenly i felt lost, alone in that hell
Looking for an answer for all that emptyness
Lost, cos everything was lost
Alone, cos anybody cared
Why were all the trees are dead?
Why were all hills lost?
Why couldn't i see green anywhere?
Who could give me an answer for that dark rainy day?
Suddenly i heard a voice.
Why did i see strange pictures
Of men killing nature, hiding
The truth?
Why were all those men blind,
Why did they destroy their life?
Why were those men crying and why was one of those men me
And why were my hands dirty, with blood?
Gaia, who are you? are you my mother?
I am the earth you step on, the air you breath
But now this earth burns me and this air poison me
If you gave me the life,
Why do we have to be enemies
Because human heart is pain
And pain is hate and hate is death.
Let that this earth burns me, let that this earth poisons me,
But don't let all this ends now
Don't let our feelings die
Maybe we stole ourselves everything
But still we have time in our lives.
