Marooned

I have woke up on this morning
and a scent is in the air
as the sun is slowly movin' towards the west
something strange has happened
I don't know exactly what
but I have a feeling things are changin'

people run around as if they've lost their heads
everybody's headed for a ledge
but I don't feel it
not the way I guess they do
it feel so good to be marooned
to be marooned

there's an eerie sound of silence
that's fillin' up my room
as the sound of everyone outside starts fading
I'm afraid I'll fell like running
along with all the rest
if someone doesn't come along and hold me

I just walk around within my empty room
the sun has hid behind the moon
guess I'll pull my chair up
put my feet on my footstool
it feels so good to be marooned
to be marooned
