Where You Are

Here you stand at life's front door. Unlike the ones you've
known, you've never seen this place before. You say that you're ready, but do
you really even know? You think that you've seen troubles, there's so many left
to go...

I may not be right where you are, but I've been there,
yeah I've been there. I've seen the highs, suffered the lows, I wrote the book
on what you do not know. So many have it harder than you. Nobody said it'd be
easy for you.

Your passion lies within your heart, but don't
stretch yourself so thin and tear what's left of you apart. You can't be here
forever, but still you run to the front line, so when you're crashing down,
don't say you didn't see the signs.

There's no way to help you
realize that every thing I've seen, it's not just through my eyes, but just
remember; time may fly, but it never lies...
