Fighting for the right to fight
For the right to name the price
To demonstrate their divine right
To patronize
Killing in the name of peace
Freedom and equality
Pretty words to look good
In the worlds’ eyes

Indifferent eyes look on again
The killing spree that has no end
All over pain and suffering
To satisfy the war machine

The reasons we have heard
Freedom’s just another word
They use to make the world
Sing to their anthem
Religions, arms race, politics
Skin colour, borders, or beliefs
All civil causes for the beast
To raise the mayhem

Haven’t we seen this all before?
Live and die by the sword
In their endless holy war
For domination
Through the time will they fight
Just to claim another prize
Success measured on the size
Of demolition
