Last Glance

So the trouble starts as I look up and see I've stopped dead in my tracks
It seems that there is someone watching
She could tell when I was looking at her
I'm not ashamed to say
It was whenever my eyes were open

Her ocean blue eyes once had stared at me before
Time swallows up the sand
She stares in my direction, yeah
I think she's got a guy
That's never stopped me before
But it won't happen again
I swear those glasses keep me guessing

So I ended up staring into artificial lenses staring back
A frame and two more eyes come between us
Hell I don't know if she intended to stop the only hope I had left
