Do you see the light
Shining
Through the cracks in the ceiling
Beautiful light
Look into the light

Blinded by the shine
Golden light with stains of life
Revealing beauty there's no pain
Where is the pain

Swallowed up in ecstacy
Is it real or fantasy
Won't return to reality
The mere thought brings insanity found

Shades of dark
Plague my mind
But there's no evil around
Something's closing in
Can feel the rope tightening
But nothing's to be found

The shadow is getting clearer
It's taking form
Mind's getting restless
Feels so contentless
Losing grip, confess!

The light's now turning red
As blood is being shed
You try to grab a hold
While you feel a sudden cold

Your flesh has been
Your mind is gone
Your bones won't last for long
Your life you stole
Shortcut without dole
For that you lost your soul

Lost souls and forgotten minds
Picture's cracking up
Starring at the sun
Searching for the light
They end up dead
