The Pull

Some people may think that I'm insane
From this need inside my brain
It's a feeling I cannot tame
Just look at the picture in the frame
Sitting up there on your stool
Trying to make all the rules
We both know that I'm no fool

I hear a crash
But there's no one around
I see a splash
And the joy that I have found

I'm in brown murk water waist deep
Fighting the blaze of the heat
