Autumn Leaves

Last night I dreamt a strange reality
It told me all the truth
But when I tried to awake with what I'd obtained
I couldn't get it through
Now the solutions to all of our problems
Sit at some borderline
Trapped behind customs, between space and time
In my mind
Yesterday I felt like shouting out your name
To let you know that I would save you from the pain
That life is sure to bring you
I dry the tears you cry beside me
In hopes that when you wake you'll still remember
How much love it takes to make it
And every time I look into your eyes
I can see the autumn leaves falling
As they darken up my sky
