Commanded to the line, unprepared to die
The last gulp for encouragement
The engines roaring, the dead men walking
As a part of the dark human wave

With force, against something immortal

Side by side, moving like phantoms white
In the dark they resist and fight
Our blood cries to heaven's light
But our voice can not be heard
The phantoms white move with no sound
While the mayhem is raging on
The phantoms white stand their ground
Outnumbered by the foe

Lay down in the fire, the funeral pyre
Or fall back before it's too late
Re-summon the legion, fortify the region
Take a breath and try again
