Hopeless

Tired of all that is around me
Afraid of life's darkness and strives
Trying to reach another surface
With my wings between my hands so trapped

Become aware, try to show us
That your life's not only pain
That a hope could change your dark side
Begin again, although it hurts you
All this time will disappear
And within it the things you love

So estranged from what I have been
Isolated from outer life
Darkening all my directions
With no will to choose, to live or die

When our existence falls into decay
So inexorably we will mourn
As we're no more than fallen leaves
Taken away by the cold wind

Oceans of life I've crossed in solitude
At the end I know we all, we all die alone

Oh hopeless soul let me attain your pain
When you're aching
Don't be afraid (if you did)
