Blood Filled Skull

When I find it all hard to swallow
I take a day and follow
The beat of the void
Then I walk in a place to thrilling
Where everything's strange I'm living
In spite of the noise

Feeling all that I can
Reaching out, extending my hand

Either way it seems I'm floating at my feet

I know my blood-filled skull is ceasing
One could worry or want but it's easing
To relinquish to time
Hearing the natural hum from your mind
For my unending friend I will find
A reason to climb

Inside, straight through your ear
To keep a head on what is real

Either way the world is shifting, you're not what you think
Either way you've got to listen, you'll miss if you blink
Saying how these things they should be but, to some it's just can't
Can you tell the Sun when to rise, no you can't
