You take the high road Ill take the low
You cite the bible Ill play with dope
I manage to love without any hope
You find it easy to walk the tight rope

Dont know where Im going you're rising high above the mountain side
But I bet you couldn't take on another voice and harmonize
So try to understand that Im going for broke and I can't turn around
But I wouldn't anyway so just let it be, cause Ill get lost and

All those who say Id lose in a one-sided fight
Cause I don't care about winning but Ill try to break all the rules
So we can at least have fun until the day we die

Been around the block one thousand times over
But I wasn't counting for those once-overs
So I tucked my head way under the covers
And looked at the seat that was made for lovers
