I walk through fields of flowers but their colors get too loud

And the grass under me starts stinging and biting

While the bugs in the air fill my head with sounds

But my eyes will just stay closed

Cus I feel if I open them, I’ll just get knocked over

As soon as the warm but unforgiving wind blows

I should be happy

I should be fine

I should look out at this field and feel like

All of it's mine

But I’m just overwhelmed by the colors

The beauty around me

I feel like I’m losing the same people that found me

Laying in the dirt so long ago

I’m in a better place, so why am I still emo?

But I’m sneezing up a storm

And I was never afraid of bumblebees

Until they started to swarm
